This is so heart warming. I did a vision quest last year and before it my grandma who died 20 years ago kept arriving in my dreams and waking me up. I now know she came back to remind me that I was unconditionally loved as a child x
Love this. I would have loved a grandparent, two would have been even better. Friends had them and I loved theirs. They always had biscuits, usually sweets in a drawer too and lots of cuddles.
Love this. My Nan’s salads - ham. Beetroot. Salad stuff. Cheese. The £2 every week from her pension. The walks. Occasional sleepovers in school holidays and Wednesday bingo. A bigger sense of community meaning that it didn’t matter that I joined the family at 2 yo. I was still family from that moment. I only wish my actual grandparents had been more supportive of their children. Things might have been different. Not necessarily better. Just different.
We just need to do it don’t we. Live and little slowly, love a lot more. Stop putting the important stuff around the edges of our lives and make them front and centre again .
So lovely. Bringing back memories of sitting by the coal fire with nanny Lily, eating buttered toast and tea then pinching some of her pink lipstick so we could go to the shops and buy a custard slice from the Bakery. I can still remember the smell of her perfume.
A fine list bringing back memories of growing up with my fabulous Nan (nearly 20 years gone now sadly). A family get together a couple of years ago I was compelled to buy all the old biscuit favourites she used to always have in stock for us all.
Oh wow this list made me smile from ear to ear! And made me think of my grandparents and all the special, quiet ways they loved me and my brothers. What a treat to read and reflect on on a Saturday morning. Thank you ❤️
Fundamentally boils down to biscuits 🍪 innit? Lush
Never knew that reading the words ‘hot ribena’ could bring me to tears 😭😂✨🙏❤️
I adore this, thank you
This made me smile! thank you for sharing Chance
Pure joy!!!
The way this actually made me cry. Again!

To fuck with optimisation
Followed from Linkedin. I love this, slowing down, being kind to ourselves and in very achievable ways!

This is such a precious list of love. This one got me: “Go for walks to see the sheep”. Gahhhh 🥹
I love this! Honestly we all need to be reminded to slow down and take care of ourselves every so often. Just booked dinner for 5.30 and can’t wait 🤣
